Wolf Cub Lab
The Wolf Cub Lab is directed by Dr. Ann Weber, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). Our research examines how different parts of the brain are involved in the development of motor, communication, and problem solving skills as children get older – starting as early as 6 months until 2 years of age. In our research, we use infant-friendly neuroimaging and eye tracking procedures to assess how the brain process information when children perform everyday behavioral tasks, such as picking up a small object, watching a video, or drawing with a crayon.
Our lab is supported by the Center for Integrative Neuroscience at UNR with funding from the Center’s NIH COBRE award.
